Job Description

Hotel Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role is often the first point of contact for guests, so professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude are essential. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Check guests in and out efficiently. Make, modify, and cancel room reservations. Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries. Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash and credit card transactions. Assign rooms and issue room keys or key cards. Resolve guest complaints and service issues promptly. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness. Maintain accurate guest records and update the hotel management system. Handle wake-up calls, messages, and special guest requests. Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and security protocols. Assist with luggage storage or arrange transportation when needed. Promote hotel services and upsell room upgrades or additional amenities. Prepare daily reports and communicate important information during shift handovers. Key Skills Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with hotel reservation systems. Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Pay:
$14.13 - $17.57 per hour
