Front Desk Associate - Full Time Through October (Potential Part Time After)
Position Summary:
The Front Desk Associate is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing daily front‑desk operations, and maintaining a professional, welcoming environment. Candidates must be available all days of the week and able to work as early as 8am and as late as 12am (midnight). This role is full time through October, with the possibility of transitioning to part time based on business needs. Key Responsibilities Guest Services — Greet guests, handle check‑ins/outs, answer questions, and ensure a positive experience. Reservation Handling — Manage phone calls, online bookings, and special requests. System Operation — Operate six or more computer systems including PMS, POS, housekeeping coordination tools, and communication platforms with accuracy and efficiency. Front Desk Operations — Maintain a clean, organized workspace; manage keys; monitor lobby activity. Communication & Coordination — Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms meet standards. Issue Resolution — Address guest concerns calmly and professionally, escalating when needed. Record Keeping — Complete daily logs, reports, and documentation accurately. Schedule Requirements Must be available all days of the week. Must be able to work 1st shift (7am-3pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) Full‑time through October May transition to part‑time after October depending on business needs Qualifications Customer Service Experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to learn and operate multiple computer systems confidently Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Basic computer proficiency Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
