The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth check-in and check-out processes. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information. Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing information about hotel services and local attractions. Maintain the front desk area in an organized and professional manner. Process payments and manage cash handling procedures in accordance with hotel policies. Assist with night audit responsibilities as needed, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and ensure room readiness. Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when handling incoming calls and messages. Skills Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills. Background in hospitality management or experience in a hotel/resort setting is preferred. Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is advantageous. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding guest service.
