Wentzville, MO. $16.00 per hour
What We Are Looking For:
Midas Hospitality is seeking a reliable and professional individual to join our team. We are looking for someone who can work at the front desk during their shift with confidence and minimal supervision. The role is best suited for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable interacting with guests. No prior hotel experience is required, we provide full paid training, but strong work ethic and responsibility are essential.
Schedule:
Shifts:
7:00am-3:00pm and 3:00pm-11:00pm. Weekday and weekend availability required. Weekends are rotated to ensure a balanced and fair schedule. 3-4 days per week. Schedules are posted in advance.
What You Will Be Doing:
You will be responsible for running the front desk during your shift and serving as the main point of contact for guests. You will often be working independently, so the ability to stay focused, think through situations, and keep things on track is important.
Other responsibilities will be to:
Welcome guests, complete registration procedures, assign accommodations, issue room keys, and provide directions and hotel information Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and guest accounts Ensure all required documentation and transactions are properly completed Perform end-of-day closeout procedures Generate and review daily reports Process reservations, including creating, confirming, and canceling bookings Accurately handle cash, receipts, guest accounts, and credit transactions, ensuring all financial records are balanced
The Ideal Candidate:
Communicates clearly and professionally Can work independently and use initiative to solve guest issues Has previous customer service experience (retail or food service is a plus, but not required) Is able to deliver excellent guest service
