Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.Duties:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival
- Check guests in and out, ensuring accuracy of information and payment processing
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously
- Assist guests with reservations, changes, and cancellations
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, transactions, and requests
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Perform night audit duties as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest service role preferred
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures is an asset
- Familiarity with phone systems and computerized reservation systems
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
