Job Description
Description The Front Desk Agent serves as the first and last impression of our hotel, providing exceptional guest service while handling front desk operations efficiently and professionally. This role is responsible for creating memorable experiences, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring every guest feels valued throughout their stay. Essential Responsibilities Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide outstanding customer service. Complete guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservation transactions accurately. Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a professional manner. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and balancing procedures. Assist guests with hotel information, local recommendations, and special requests. Address guest concerns promptly and work toward satisfactory resolutions. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs. Maintain accurate guest records and update information in the property management system. Promote hotel amenities, services, and World of Hyatt membership opportunities. Follow Hyatt standards, brand policies, and safety procedures. Qualifications Previous hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel management systems. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent required. Schedule Requirements Flexible schedule required. Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts as needed. Ability to work additional hours during high occupancy periods and special events.
