  • Newly Renovated We're looking for a dependable, people-loving problem-solver to join our front desk team for the second shift (2:30 PM
  • 10:00 PM) at our newly renovated Candlewood Suites Wake Forest .
We may also occasionally have shifts available during the week. Flexibility, team work and kindness are key.
Summary:
As a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, you'll be the first face guests see and the person they turn to throughout their stay. You'll play a vital role in ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, handling guest inquiries, and delivering exceptional service every time. This position reports to the Front Office Manager and works closely with housekeeping and maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.
What You'll Do:
Greet and assist guests during check-in/check-out. Handle phone calls, take reservations, and respond to guest requests. Maintain a well-organized front desk and log key shift information. Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
You Are:
Friendly, calm under pressure, and naturally helpful. Detail-oriented and comfortable multitasking. Confident using computers and learning new systems. Reliable and available to work evenings, weekends, nights and holidays on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong customer service background (hospitality experience preferred). Familiarity with front desk operations and multi-line phone systems. Experience with hotel night audit procedures is a plus.
