Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Attendant to serve as the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth flow of daily activities. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help create a positive environment for visitors, clients, and team members alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative and customer support skills in a professional setting. Responsibilities Greet visitors, clients, and vendors with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls to appropriate departments or personnel with excellent phone etiquette. Handle all front desk duties including check-ins, appointment scheduling, and visitor sign-ins using office management software. Maintain organized filing systems, perform data entry tasks, and ensure accurate record keeping using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools. Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment coordination, and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar software. Assist with clerical duties such as proofreading documents, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and supporting administrative projects. Ensure the office environment remains tidy and organized, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Qualifications Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or as a receptionist; previous hotel front desk experience is a plus. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently. Bilingual abilities are desirable to better serve diverse client needs. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette. Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, data entry, filing procedures, and basic bookkeeping is preferred. Previous experience with Hotel Property Management systems a plus!
