As a Front Office Associate you can expect to understand the following functional competencies: Understand and maintain guest service standards and policies Provide information to guests on surrounding area, hotel policies and amenities Respond to all guest requests expediently and earnestly Communicate status of all rooms to department heads via prescribed reporting procedures Sell rooms to "walk in" guests Take telephone reservations for upcoming arrivals Enter/change information in the reservations system Post charges to guest accounts Process payments from guests Operate hotel switchboard/PBX Maintain front desk cleanliness Maintain daily logs Communicate any maintenance issues according to appropriate procedure Perform other duties as assigned by management Summary As a Hotel Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your core skills in hospitality, guest services, and phone etiquette will be essential in managing check-ins, addressing guest inquiries, and handling reservations. With premium skills in hospitality management and multilingual communication, you will enhance the guest experience and support hotel operations. Your relevant skills in guest relations and multi-line phone systems will further contribute to our commitment to outstanding service in a vibrant hotel environment.
