Job Description

Aloft LGA Airport Hotel is a Marriott brand hotel franchise in East Elmhurst, NY.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information and providing necessary assistance
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently
  • Operate the phone system, answering and directing calls as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
Skills:
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite This position requires a high level of flexibility in schedule, and an availability to pick up Evening (3pm
  • 11pm, 11pm
  • 7am) and Weekend Shifts (FRI, SAT, SUN).
Understanding of the Lightspeed PMS system is a significant advantage. The Guest Experience Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests while also managing administrative tasks. The main responsibilities include greeting guests, checking them in/out, handling inquiries/complaints, operating the phone system, and assisting with administrative duties. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and basic computer proficiency are essential for success in this role.
