Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Front Desk Clerk will also assist with guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts. Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through multi-line phone systems. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experiences. Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Maintain front desk cleanliness and organization to create a welcoming environment. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations; experience in front desk operations is a plus. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests. Familiarity with night audit procedures is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed. Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in using multi-line phone systems are essential for effective communication. A background in resort operations or guest services will be advantageous in this role.
