You will help coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations, and guest services. As a front desk agent, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude. Our ideal candidate will deal efficiently with complaints and have a solid customer service approach. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and friendly service to our customers. Pay of $13-15/hr is based on experience.
YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE
as an IHG hotel front desk agent to make $15/hr.
YOU MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT WHEN NEEDED.
Responsibilities Ensure the front desk is tidy and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms, and informative leaflets) Support the office staff, including front desk agents, and call center agents Ensure timely and accurate customer service Handle complaints and specific customers requests Troubleshoot emergencies Monitor stock and help order supplies Ensure proper mail distribution Keep updated records Ensure the company's policies and security requirements are met Assist the GM in daily operations and administrative work. Be the eyes and ears to the GM and relate any concerns Knowledge/Skill Requirements Proven work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role (At least 1 year experience) Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and maintain composure Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by guests and co-workers. Must be able to work and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic. Inside Sales Experience with Hotel Key hotel reservations software Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Priceline, Booking, and TripAdvisor Friendly/Professional customer service attitude Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers) Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management, and basic bookkeeping procedures Proficiency in English (oral and written) Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word Problem-solving skills Comply at all times with hotel standards and regulations to encourage a safe and effective hotel.
Ability to commute/relocate:
Tulsa, OK 74133: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
Education:
High school or equivalent, an additional certification is a plus A degree in Hotel Management is a plus This is a professional position. Please come to the interview wearing proper, business attire.
