Job Description
Description Position Summary Overnight Houseperson stationed at the Hotel Front Desk. Runs service calls to guest rooms, Answers phones at front desk, and light cleaning of hotel lobby. Provides excellent guest service to all patrons. Essential Functions Communicates daily in person or over the telephone with clients who inquire about reserving guestrooms, (Individual through multiple guestrooms), employing sales techniques to book the reservation(s). Prepares Guest confirmations of reservations or cancellations, booking contracts and related correspondence regarding guest reservations (groups or individuals). Empties wastebaskets, empties, and cleans ashtrays, and transports other trash and waste to disposal areas. Assist guests with luggage or other guest services as requested. Restock linen rooms with clean stock from Laundry. Assist housekeeping and laundry personnel with lifting and storing supply items. Rotate mattresses upon request. Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Dust and polishes furniture and equipment. Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and/or polishes floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers. Answers multi-line telephone providing information, routing calls, and taking messages. Observes precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report any damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Removes debris from driveways, parking lots, and swimming pool areas. Replaces light bulbs. Performs all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort customer service standards. Learn the check-in and checkout functions and a basic understanding of the Front Desk. Provides courteous guest service and responds promptly to guest's requests, questions, or complaints. Provides input or recommendations for improvements and changes in processes or services. All other duties as assigned. Requirements Position Qualifications
