Job Description
Description Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Desk Agent at The Lowline Hotel, where your warm personality and commitment to exceptional service will create memorable experiences for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring each guest feels valued and well-cared for from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and register guests efficiently and courteously upon arrival
- Make, modify, and cancel reservations to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Serve as the hotel operator, handling phone inquiries and guest requests
- Perform concierge duties, providing information about local attractions, dining, and services when needed.
- Settle guest accounts accurately upon departure
- Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service throughout the guest's stay
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the hotel's standards of service
Requirements Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or related field is a plus
- Previous experience in customer service, or hotel environment preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, upbeat personality with a genuine desire to deliver outstanding guest service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with reservation systems and basic computer skills
- Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to handle routine issues
- Clerical and organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently
- Strong oral communication skills and a customer/client-oriented mindset
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
