Job Description
$500 Sign-On Bonus for Full Time, Permanent, Hourly Associates. $250 Sign-On Bonus for Part Time, Permanent, Hourly Associates. FREE Meals during work shift!
Pay Rate:
$21 hr.Hours:
7 am- 3 pm or 3 pm
- 11 pm. Open Availability. Available to work weekends. This position is full time. - featuring grand ballrooms, historic architecture and rich Charlestonian history.
- Efficient and friendly check in and out of guests of the Francis Marion while maintaining AAA Four-Diamond standards.
- Distributes mail, messages or packages to registered guests or hotel personnel.
- Act as the hotel's central source of information, providing it to inquiring guests. This knowledge must extend from hotel statistics to local attractions and directions.
- Handle Credit and cash according to procedures.
- Resolve customer complaints and answer guest inquiries in connection with hotel services, in-house events, directions, check cashing, and safety deposit boxes, etc.
- Answer the phone positively and with professional phone etiquette.
- Must help keep front desk and all employee areas clean.
- Performing courtesy callbacks to guests inquiring into their stay and room appearance.
- Be able to stand for long periods.
- Ability to move from place to place in the kitchen and upstairs.
- Lift up to 25lbs.
