Status:
Non-Exempt Reports to: Front Office Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The front desk agent at Caravan Court facilitates guest request completion and oversees the daily check in and check out process for hotel guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
Operational Responsibilities Log all guest requests into portal Communicate updates and correspondence with guests Perform check in and check out tasks according to hotel standards Complete daily front desk checklist Adhere to core standards Guest Services Anticipate and attend to guest needs Report all incidents according to company guidelines Store guest luggage and document appropriately Receive and store guest packages Administer lost and found per company guidelines Team Support and Training Attend and contribute to department meetings Participate in cross training Complete all required trainings Communication and Reporting Facilitate all internal communications and follow up accordingly Run all reports necessary to the operation Complete full shift pass on reports Safety & Compliance Adhere to all safety and security guidelines
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective time management and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft applications Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities Effective computer skills
Physical Requirements Sitting:
Short periods of time
Standing/Walking:
Long periods of standing, minimum of 5 consecutive hours
Lifting/Carrying:
Occasionally, maximum of 20 pounds
Working Environment Interior:
Majority of time spent in front desk building
Exterior:
Escorting guests to required areas of the hotel BASICS Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas Display courteous behavior with guests and team members Report any unsafe conditions immediately Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Education and Experience Hotel or Office administration experience preferred No minimum education requirements
