Full job description Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hotel operations and be proficient in hospitality management. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing hotel operations, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay for our guests. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage the front desk efficiently, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments. Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Utilize hotel management software to manage room assignments, guest information, and other hotel operations. Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding guest expectations and ensuring a positive experience. Assist with night audit, ensuring all hotel records are accurate and up-to-date. Demonstrate proficiency in phone systems, answering and directing guest calls efficiently. Communicate effectively with colleagues, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming and professional appearance. Be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. Qualifications Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, with a focus on front desk operations. Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service. Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in phone systems and hotel management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Multilingual skills are an asset, but not required. Night audit experience is desirable. A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
