This candidate MUST be available to work evening shifts (like 3p.m to 11p.m) including but not limited to working weekend/holidays. Candidate should also occasionally be available for night shift (like 11p.m to 7a.m) including but not limited to working weekend/holidays. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while performing night audit function. This role requires good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
MUST HAVE HOTEL FRONT DESK EXPERIENCE FOR AT LEAST 1 YEAR. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE AS OUTLINED ABOVE.
Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction. Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using hotel management software. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing information about hotel services and local attractions. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions. Perform night audit functions. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy. Address any guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and urgency. Assist in managing phone systems, directing calls appropriately, and taking messages when necessary. Other duties as assigned including assisting in laundry. Skills Strong background in hospitality management is preferred. Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Proven customer service experience in a hotel or resort setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with guest services operations and hotel management software. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
