The Front Desk Agent is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our guests while efficiently handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, guest requests, and daily front desk operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently. Handle reservations, cancellations, modifications, and guest inquiries. Answer and direct phone calls using professional phone etiquette. Provide information about hotel services, amenities, policies, and local attractions. Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns promptly and professionally. Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts. Use the hotel's property management system (PMS) to manage reservations and guest information. Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area. Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards. Complete daily paperwork and other administrative duties as assigned. Perform night audit duties when scheduled or needed. Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily hotel operations. Qualifications Previous hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Friendly, professional, and positive attitude. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel software and property management systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Must be available to work all weekends and holidays. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
