Job Description

We are hiring for a front desk agent. Weekends and reliability are required. We highly prefer some experience however it is not required, and we will train. Obviously you will be working with the public, so we expect you to be friendly and outgoing. You will also need to check pool area to ensure guests are not taking food or beverages in there, you will need to be able to confront a guest that is breaking the rules. The shift we are looking to cover is PM shift. We are looking to hire rather soon. Days and hours we are looking for are Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, hours are 3pm-11pm. You may have some stressful shifts, as dealing with customers sometimes happens, you have to be able to handle yourself through the stress, and not let the customer see that they are irritating you. Our motto is "Because we Care" we try to live by this motto as much as possible. Responsibilities Perform all check-in and check-out tasks Manage online and phone reservations Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay) Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate Maintain updated records of bookings and payments Due to the nature of our business, we will be doing a background check on you.
