POSITION PROFILE
: The General Manager serves as the chief executive of the hotel, responsible for maximizing the long-term value of the asset while delivering exceptional financial performance, guest experience, and team engagement. The General Manager leads the business, the building, and the people, balancing owner expectations, operational excellence, commercial performance, and a culture rooted in Valor's

values. This role requires a strategic leader who can inspire teams, think like an owner, make sound decisions under pressure, and represent the hotel with credibility among owners, brand partners, guests, and the local community.

General Manager at Valor Hospitality Partners is not simply an operator. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES
Business Performance Leadership - Drive sustainable financial performance while protecting long-term asset value. While Department Heads focus on departmental expenses, a Valor GM drives excellence through total asset management. You move from managing a budget to protecting an investment. Commercial & Revenue Leadership - Drive top-line revenue through integrated sales, marketing, and revenue strategy. Operational and Guest Experience - Deliver consistent, high-quality operations and exceptional guest experiences that reflect a true sense of place. People & Culture Leadership - Build a high-performing, engaged team of Hotelitarians and develop the next generation of Valor leaders. Ownership, Stakeholder & Community Leadership - Represent the property with authenticity and conviction to owners, brand partners, and the local community. Adaptability, Judgement and Emotional Intelligence - Demonstrate agility, sound judgement, emotional intelligence, and resilience under pressure.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing and Walking:
You'll need to stand and walk for extended periods throughout your shift, often for the entire shift.
