Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee the upkeep, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across the hotel property. Your leadership will ensure that all facilities operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently, creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventative maintenance tasks. Lead facilities maintenance teams by providing clear direction, motivating team members, and managing schedules to optimize productivity. Oversee the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical systems including HVAC units, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), plumbing infrastructure, and mechanical equipment. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders, schedule preventive maintenance, and maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards by conducting safety audits, enforcing proper procedures, and maintaining safety documentation. Read schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot engineering issues effectively; utilize tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for precise repairs. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs by coordinating with contractors, managing timelines, budgets, and ensuring quality standards are met. Requirements Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams within a hospitality or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage), plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and industrial maintenance procedures. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations along with experience implementing safety protocols in a facilities setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes; experience with CMMS software is highly desirable. Demonstrated project management skills including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and overseeing multiple maintenance projects simultaneously. Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics; use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters accurately. Excellent leadership qualities with strong team management skills; capable of supervising diverse teams while fostering a safe work environment.
