The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of service across all departments. Multilingual abilities and supervisory experience are highly valued to foster a welcoming environment for diverse guests and staff. The Hotel General Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, managing budgets, and upholding the hotel's reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Oversee daily hotel operations for a 100+ room hotel including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance departments Lead and supervise staff to ensure high levels of performance, motivation, and customer service excellence Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue management and occupancy rates Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations Handle guest relations issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction and loyalty Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to meet financial goals Coordinate night audit procedures and oversee front desk operations including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality standards, and professional development Maintain the hotel's reputation through effective marketing strategies and quality assurance programs Ensure the resort or hotel facilities are well-maintained and meet brand standards Skills Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising experience Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including guest services, revenue management, budgeting, and human resources Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflict resolution efficiently Familiarity with front desk operations, night audit procedures, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette Experience in resort or large hotel environments is advantageous Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in operational planning and execution Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced hospitality setting This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a vibrant team in delivering memorable guest experiences while driving the success of our hotel.
