Job Description

Primarily supervises front office team members to ensure efficient operations for producing excellent feedback and guest satisfaction. Responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests by providing accurate and timely information an services. You will also ensure hotel charges are processed diligently to guest's statements, invoices are accurate, billing instructions are verified, all necessary supporting bills and vouchers are attached for direct settlements.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Ensure outstanding customer care at all times. Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times. Responds to telephone and in person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns. Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures. Train, direct the work of, resolve issues/problem and coach and counsel front desk team members to ensure a quality operation. Build a strong relationship and liaise with all other departments especially housekeeping, reservations etc. Cross check all billing instructions are correctly u dated. Controls cash transactions at the front desk and maintains complete responsibility for cash bank as specified by hotel bank policy. Supervise operations of the front desk to ensure an optimal service level of service and hospitality provided to the guests. Ensure front office log book is always updated and actioned upon. Takes responsibility in the absence of the Duty manager/Front office manager. As a supervisor you will be a role model, sharing our expertise and continually inspiring the front office team. Basic Qualifications & Skills Degree or diploma in hospitality management or hotel related field. Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands including nights, weekends and Holidays as needed Desired Qualifications & Traits 2 to 3 years work experience as front office associate/Front office cashier at a hotel. Physical Requirements Able to stand for long periods of time
