As we continue to build our team, we are looking for hospitality leaders who are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and helping make The Resort one of Anaheim's premier destinations. Position Summary The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations while ensuring exceptional guest service and adherence to established hotel, quality, and sustainability standards. This position provides leadership and support to front desk associates and serves as a key resource for resolving guest concerns and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction. Essential Job Functions Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support front desk associates, ensuring performance aligns with established brand and hotel standards and HHM core values. Supervise daily front desk operations and provide leadership and direction to the team. Resolve guest complaints and concerns by thoroughly researching situations and determining effective, appropriate solutions. Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement strategies to improve departmental and overall guest satisfaction. Oversee front office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager or Assistant General Manager. Welcome guests promptly upon arrival and efficiently register and assign rooms. Provide guests with welcome folders, room keys, certificates, coupons, refreshment center keys, and other applicable materials. Accurately process guest bills, collect payments, handle cash, and provide appropriate change. Close guest accounts at checkout and address concerns or dissatisfaction by identifying appropriate resolutions, which may include authorizing revenue adjustments within established guidelines. Develop and implement specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely action plans to address guest service deficiencies. Ensure the hotel entrance, front desk, reception area, and other public areas are clean, organized, and well maintained. Promote and maintain a safe work environment by following established safety procedures, including MSDS and OSHA standards, and properly using required protective equipment. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Position Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years of related hospitality or front office experience. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong guest service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Work Environment & Schedule Work schedule may vary and includes mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Requires standing and walking for extended periods. May require pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Must be able to maintain a professional and positive presence while interacting with guests and team members.
