Job Description

Live-In Hotel General Manager
  • Carlyle Hotel Campbell, California | Full-time | On-site Carlyle Hotel, part of Otter Hospitality Group, is seeking an experienced hotel leader to live on site and manage daily operations.
Lead a small team, maintain consistent guest service, and take responsibility for the property's performance. Compensation and housing Salary depends on experience, plus on-site housing. The accommodation, included utilities, work schedule, and after-hours arrangements will be explained during the interview and documented before employment begins. Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the front-desk and housekeeping teams; plan schedules and coverage.
  • Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and accurate timekeeping with ownership.
  • Maintain room readiness, cleanliness, maintenance follow-through, and guest-service standards.
  • Resolve guest concerns and coordinate defined emergency coverage.
  • Review operating results, control purchasing and labor costs, and execute owner-approved pricing and revenue plans.
  • Keep ownership informed through concise reporting and prompt escalation of operational issues.
Qualifications Demonstrated hotel supervisory or management experience, strong guest-service judgment, practical team leadership, and confidence using hotel-management and scheduling systems. Experience managing an independent or limited-service hotel is valuable. This is a live-in position. The schedule includes agreed weekend and holiday coverage, designated days off, and defined after-hours responsibilities.
