Guest Services & Operations Supervisor Boutique Hotel - 24 Rooms Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and hospitality-driven Guest Services & Operations Manager to support the daily operations of our 24-room boutique hotel. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing guest services and housekeeping operations while ensuring an exceptional guest experience from pre-arrival through departure. This is an ideal opportunity for an emerging hospitality professional looking to grow into hotel management. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, service-focused, and comfortable leading a small team while actively assisting in day-to-day operations. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Reservations Review upcoming reservations prior to guest arrival to ensure accuracy and personalized service Connect with guests before arrival to confirm stay details and provide upsell opportunities, including room upgrades, amenities, special packages, and local experiences Deliver exceptional guest service throughout all stages of the guest journey Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservation inquiries as needed Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery situations Monitor guest satisfaction and online reputation to help maintain high service standards Operations & Team Leadership Oversee the daily operations of guest services and housekeeping departments Provide leadership, support, and accountability for Guest Services Agents and Housekeeping team members Assist with training, coaching, and onboarding new employees Help coordinate team schedules and daily operational priorities Ensure communication between departments is efficient and guest-focused Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and a hands-on approach Housekeeping Oversight Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met Assist housekeeping operations during high occupancy periods or staffing shortages Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen inventory, and operational organization Ensure rooms are guest-ready and completed within established timelines Administrative & Operational Support Support hotel leadership with operational reporting, administrative tasks, and process improvements Assist in maintaining brand standards, operational procedures, and service expectations Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, revenue, and guest satisfaction Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, hotel operations, or housekeeping preferred Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced hospitality environment Comfortable working in both operational and guest-facing roles Proficient with basic computer systems and hotel reservation platforms preferred Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Ability to bend, push, pull, and assist with housekeeping-related tasks when needed Compensation & Growth Opportunity Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity for advancement within hotel operations and management Employee hotel discounts and team benefits (if applicable) Collaborative and supportive boutique hotel environment Ideal Candidate Traits Guest-focused with a passion for hospitality Strong attention to detail and operational organization Hands-on leader who supports the team wherever needed Professional, dependable, and solution-oriented Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
