Job Type:

candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends in season Job Overview We are looking for a skilled, "hands-on" Hotel Maintenance Manager to lead the upkeep of our property. You will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical systems, guest rooms, and public areas are maintained to the highest standards. Because guest needs are highest when the hotel is full, this position requires a regular schedule that includes working both Saturdays and Sundays. This position will report to the current Chief Engineer for and hotel General Manager.
Key Responsibilities Preventative Maintenance:
Implement and manage a rigorous PM program for guest rooms, HVAC units, laundry equipment, and pool systems.
General Repairs:
Perform expert-level repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
Team Leadership:
Supervise maintenance assistants (where applicable), managing schedules and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and ensure all work meets safety and brand standards.
Safety & Compliance:
Conduct regular fire safety inspections and ensure the property remains in compliance with local building codes and brand audits.
Emergency Response:
Act as the primary point of contact for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years in hotel maintenance or facility management.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of HVAC (PTAC units), plumbing, and electrical systems.
Schedule:
Must be available to work weekends. This is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Certifications:

Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
