Job Description

Supervise and monitor the daily operations, systems and programs in the Resort Services Department; communicate rates, inventories, and strategies to appropriate staff to maximize occupancy, revenue and profit goals.
Essential Functions:
Assist the Resort Services Manager to train, schedule, monitor/ shop sales techniques of Resort Service Specialists, and provide feedback and open communication to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality scores (40%) Implement and/or maintain procedures for block and coding of rooms, advance deposits and no-show billing and disputes, as well as maintaining records, monitor results and compile data and reports to ensure the department meets/exceeds budgeted room nights, golf rounds, average rates and revenue goals while ensuring excellent customer service. (20%) Supervise the daily operations of the Resort Services area to ensure compliance and consistency with policies, procedures, sales programs and techniques, as well as maintenance of equipment. (20%) Monitor, update and communicate inventory levels and room rate restrictions to maximize room occupancy and revenue (10%) Oversee and ensure maintenance of tee sheets, as well as inventory for dining, recreation and spa. (10%)
Knowledge and Skills:
Education:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Further education is desirable.
Experience:
Previous data entry and telephone experience is helpful.
Skills and Abilities:
Must possess telephone communications skills in terms of the ability to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence potential hotel guests. Ability to operate a computer.
