Job Description
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, supervises and serves as a supporting role planning, and organization for the daily task of engineering department in the most efficient and effective manner possible, while maintaining the company's expected high quality standards. Perform safety inspections; enforcing safety protocols and ensuring adherence to OSHA. Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, repairing, and perform preventative maintenance in resort units which may include heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment as well as general maintenance duties Essential Job Functions- monitors maintenance work orders of technicians, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Ensures assigned area of responsibility meets all company and compliance standards. Embrace and exhibit the highest level of ethics and integrity consistent with company standards. Ensure the engineering department meets all Internal, Quality, and standards. Demonstrate an ability to motivate and communicate expectations with humility and respect. Create a positive and engaging work environment Support and implement resort management strategic initiatives and programs. Identify areas which need improvement and works with appropriate team member to repair the necessary areas. Demonstrate and applies broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures to support team members perform related tasks. Providing guidance and support on technical issues. Perform other duties as needed. Experience/Education High School Diploma Preferred; Strong leadership and supervisory skills, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Technical knowledge of building maintenance systems, Problem-solving and analytical abilities, and Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Possessing knowledge of various maintenance disciplines like electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and basic repair techniques. Prior hospitality experience preferred. Certificates & Licenses Valid State Driver's License; Others required by Brand Standard and/or
