Plantation, FL 33324 Job Description Must be willing to step in and help the line when needed We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Task Force Contract Hotel Kitchen Manager to oversee kitchen operations at our hotel location in Plantation, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, safety, and compliance with health regulations, while leading a team to deliver exceptional culinary service. Key Responsibilities Manage daily kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards. Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Maintain inventory control, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and hotel policies. Collaborate with hotel management and other departments to coordinate food service for events, banquets, and daily operations. Monitor food costs and implement measures to minimize waste and maximize profitability. Resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly to maintain smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures and quality control measures. Qualifications Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a hotel or contract food service environment. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in inventory management and cost control. Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays as needed. Relevant culinary or hospitality certification preferred.
