Job Description

The Front Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk and ensuring an exceptional guest experience at 1st Place Hotel. This role leads the front desk team, manages guest services and reservations, monitors payments and room inventory, and ensures that hotel policies and procedures are consistently followed. The ideal candidate is a confident and professional leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills who can effectively manage staff, resolve guest concerns, and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front desk operation.
Compensation:
Base pay of $16.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities Front Desk Operations Oversee all daily front desk operations and ensure smooth and efficient service. Supervise, train, and support front desk associates. Create and manage front desk schedules and ensure adequate coverage. Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, appearance, and performance. Ensure all front desk procedures are followed consistently.
Qualifications & Skills:
Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk roles is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Gearco, or similar). Basic math skills for handling transactions. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.
