Hampton Inn Hilton, Douglas Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who can drive excellence in guest services, manage financial performance, and foster a positive environment for staff and guests alike. As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the property, maintaining high standards of hospitality, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating memorable experiences for our guests while achieving business objectives. Responsibilities Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk management, guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless service delivery. Supervise and motivate hospitality teams, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes exceptional customer service and team development. Manage hospitality operations budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement revenue management strategies to maximize profitability. Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking processes and guest data management. Ensure compliance with hotel guest service standards, health and safety regulations, and property policies to uphold brand reputation. Lead human resources activities such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling to maintain a motivated workforce. Cultivate strong guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, enhancing guest experiences, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Coordinate with departments to oversee night audit procedures, manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, and handle guest inquiries efficiently. Implement strategies for revenue growth through upselling techniques, promotional campaigns, and market analysis. Monitor operational metrics regularly to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions swiftly. Requirements Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS), property management software (PMS), and hospitality reservation platforms. Hilton Experience Preferred Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage hospitality teams effectively across various departments. Financial management experience including managing budgets, controlling costs, and executing revenue strategies. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and communicate clearly with guests and stakeholders. Demonstrated expertise in overseeing daily hotel operations such as front desk activities, night audit procedures, guest relations, human resources functions, and customer service standards.
