Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk - Supervisor, where you will lead a dedicated front desk team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing guest relations, and ensuring smooth hotel operations. You will oversee daily front desk activities, coordinate reservations, and uphold the highest standards of customer service while maintaining efficient hotel management procedures. Your energetic leadership will inspire team collaboration and elevate guest satisfaction at every touchpoint. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate front desk operations, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes for all guests. Manage reservations using hotel property management systems (PMS) at Americans Best Value Inn such as or similar platforms, optimizing room allocations and availability. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and enhancing overall guest relations. Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and recordkeeping at the end of each shift. Train and mentor front desk staff on hospitality management best practices, phone etiquette, multi-line phone systems, and hotel emergency procedures. Communicate effectively with guests via phone and in person, demonstrating professionalism and hospitality expertise in all interactions. Handle guest complaints or concerns with problem-solving skills, ensuring positive resolutions that foster loyalty. Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel policies, safety protocols, and property management systems (PMS) to support efficient operations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly preferred to serve diverse guest populations effectively. Familiarity with hotel management software such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS). Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle complex situations calmly and professionally. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and guest services standards. Previous experience working with multi-line phone systems and resort environments is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to lead a team, motivate staff, and uphold high standards of hospitality excellence. Pay:
$8.50 - $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
