Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Assistant GeneralManager (AGM) to help lead one of our hotel properties. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about guest service, team development, and operational excellence. The Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, financial performance, and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys mentoring teams, solving problems, and creating a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day operation of the hotel. Lead and support Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other hotel departments. Ensure outstanding guest service and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally. Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and accountability. Assist with scheduling, payroll review, labor management, and staffing needs. Monitor occupancy, revenue, and operational performance to achieve business goals. Perform daily property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standards are maintained. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable laws. Assist with budgeting, cost control, and inventory management. Work collaboratively with department leaders to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction. Handle Manager-on-Duty responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Support sales initiatives and maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and the local community. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of hotel management or hospitality leadership experience preferred. Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities. Experience with hotel property management systems is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
