Lodge Manager
Job Description
Mountain Village Resort in Stanley, Idaho operates a 61-room Lodge, RV park, Stanley Outpost, Restaurant, Saloon, Dance Hall, Mercantile, Gas &, Service Station, and many rental properties. We are seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to oversee and manage the Lodge and Stanley Outpost. Must be willing to relocate to Stanley.

Hours/schedule:
Year-Round, Full-Time (Must be able to work a minimum of five days a week and be available to be on call 24/7.) Position Summary The Lodge Manager oversees the daily operations of the lodge to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff. This role is responsible for guest satisfaction, staff supervision, facility management, and operational efficiency, while upholding the lodge's standards and values. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day lodge operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services Hire, terminate, supervise, train, schedule, and support lodge staff, Address performance and conduct issues with employees Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing guest needs, concerns, and feedback Oversee reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and occupancy planning Maintain the lodge facilities, grounds, and equipment; coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance Monitor budgets, expenses, and inventory; approve purchases as needed Enforce safety procedures, emergency protocols, and compliance with local regulations Develop and implement operational policies and service standards Coordinate events, group bookings, and special requests Serve as the primary on-site contact for guests, vendors, and owner Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality, lodging, or property management required Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Basic financial, scheduling, and administrative skills Working knowledge of maintenance, safety, and cleanliness standards Proficiency with reservation systems and standard office software Physical & Work Requirements Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings Ability to walk the property, climb stairs, and lift up to 45 pounds as needed On-call availability for emergencies may be required The lodge manager will report directly to the owners. Pay:
$14.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
