About the Role Courtyard by Marriott Chicago O'Hare is seeking an experienced, service-driven General Manager to lead our hotel operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the property's performance, including guest satisfaction, financial results, team development, sales growth, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a dynamic hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences while building a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest service and brand standards are consistently met. Drive revenue growth and profitability through effective budgeting, forecasting, and expense management. Recruit, train, coach, and develop department leaders and associates. Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture. Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, company policies, and all applicable safety and regulatory requirements. Oversee property maintenance to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and key stakeholders to generate business opportunities. Monitor guest feedback and implement strategies to continually improve the guest experience. Collaborate with the sales and revenue management teams to maximize occupancy and revenue. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of hotel General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience. Marriott brand experience required. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong customer service focus with a commitment to operational excellence. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. We're an equal opportunity employer.
