Job Description

Company Overview Trivedi Hospitality has established a strong reputation for excellence since starting with a small motel in 1987. With a growing portfolio of seven hotels and two additional projects in development, the company emphasizes consistent quality, strategic growth, and a solid culture dedicated to investor returns and associate satisfaction. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to support the financial operations of a multi-property hospitality organization. The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting activities, coordinate accounts payable and account reconciliations, assist with month-end closing, and help ensure that financial records are complete, accurate, and properly documented. The ideal candidate has accounting experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple properties, accounts, deadlines, and competing priorities. Key Responsibilities Review Daily Activity entries and investigate and resolve any discrepancies or system-related issues. Oversee invoice processing, purchase-order matching, coding, approvals, and supporting documentation. Transfer invoices, credit card receipts, and related transactions from the procurement system into the accounting system. Verify that payments are accurate, properly approved, and supported before processing. Review general ledger activity and investigate unusual or incorrectly coded transactions. Research and resolve vendor inquiries, duplicate invoices, missing payments, billing discrepancies, account credits, and other account-related issues. Assist with vendor setup, W-9 collection, direct-bill applications, and other required forms. Monitor vendor statements and outstanding balances. Prepare and review monthly bank and credit card reconciliations for multiple operating, reserve, and related-entity accounts. Follow up with cardholders and property personnel regarding missing documentation or discrepancies. Prepare customer invoices, process direct billing, and manage accounts receivable, including payment posting and follow-up on outstanding balances. Prepare recurring accounting and operational reports for management review. Help monitor property expenses and identify significant variances or unusual trends. Assist the Director of Finance with special projects, financial analysis, and management reporting. Required Qualifications Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. Previous accounting experience required; hospitality or multi-property accounting experience is preferred. Experience working with Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and account-reconciliation schedules. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while handling a high volume of transactions. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling payroll, banking, employee, and financial information. Preferred Qualifications Hotel, hospitality, property-management, or multi-entity accounting experience. Experience with hotel accounting software, procurement platforms, and property-management systems. Familiarity with Inn-Flow, Precoro, QuickBooks, or similar accounting systems. Work Environment This position works closely with the Director of Finance, Accounting Assistant, hotel General Managers, property personnel, vendors, and ownership. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and managing accounting responsibilities across multiple properties and legal entities.
