Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Hotel General Manager to join our hospitality team! Duties Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk activities, guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure seamless service delivery. Supervise and manage hospitality teams across departments, fostering a positive work environment and promoting team collaboration. Manage hospitality operations budgets, monitor expenses, and implement revenue management strategies to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with hotel management standards, property management systems (PMS), and guest service protocols to deliver outstanding guest experiences. Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, training programs, and performance evaluations to develop a high-performing team. Handle guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Utilize hospitality reservation systems and property management software to optimize bookings, monitor occupancy rates, and streamline operations. Support night audit procedures and oversee multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Implement hotel policies related to guest safety, security protocols, and property maintenance to uphold property standards. Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and guest loyalty. Must be dependable and flexable with schedule. Experience Proven supervisory experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotel or resort environments. Strong background in overseeing daily hotel operations with a focus on customer service excellence. Experience managing hospitality teams across multiple departments such as front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage or maintenance. Knowledge of revenue management techniques and budgeting processes specific to hospitality settings. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and financial management tools. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively. Excellent managerial communication skills combined with leadership qualities that motivate teams toward shared goals. Prior experience handling night audit procedures and managing multi-line phone systems is advantageous.
