Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel General Manager, where you will lead the overall operations of a vibrant hotel property. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape guest experiences, drive revenue growth, and foster a high-performing team. As the driving force behind daily hotel management, you will ensure exceptional guest service standards are maintained while overseeing all aspects of hotel operations with energy and enthusiasm. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize financial performance, and uphold the property's reputation for excellence in hospitality. Duties Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Manage hospitality management systems and property management systems (PMS) to coordinate reservations, guest check-ins/outs, and billing processes efficiently. Supervise and develop hospitality teams through effective human resources practices, including training, performance evaluations, and team management. Implement and monitor hotel guest service standards to guarantee outstanding guest relations and satisfaction. Oversee budgeting and financial management activities, including managing hospitality operations budgets, revenue management strategies, and financial operations to maximize profitability. Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring phone etiquette on multi-line phone systems and managing guest inquiries with professionalism. Lead revenue management initiatives by analyzing market trends, adjusting pricing strategies, and optimizing occupancy rates to boost revenue streams. Ensure compliance with hotel management policies, health & safety regulations, and property standards while managing hospitality reservation systems for bookings and cancellations. Handle night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions accurately. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, leadership development, and continuous improvement across all departments. Skills Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage hospitality teams confidently and motivate staff toward shared goals. Extensive experience in overseeing daily hotel operations, including front desk management and guest services. Expertise in revenue management techniques to optimize occupancy rates and profitability. Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, multi-line phone systems, and other relevant technology tools. Excellent managerial communication skills for clear reporting, staff coordination, and guest interactions. Sound knowledge of human resources practices related to hiring, training, performance reviews, and conflict resolution. Ability to manage hospitality operations budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service. Experience in handling financial operations such as budgeting, night audit procedures, and financial reporting within a resort or hotel setting is highly desirable. $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
