THE HYANNIS HARBOR HOTEL & OCEAN MIST BEACH HOTEL AND SUITES ARE CURRENTLY SEARCHING FOR A DUAL-PROPERTY MAINTENANCE MANAGER!

You must be willing to commute or relocate to the Hyannis, MA area. The Dual-Property Maintenance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the engineering department across both the Hyannis Harbor Hotel and the Ocean Mist Beach Hotel & Suites. Also responsible for the administrative, financial and operating aspects of both hotels as they relate to engineering. Position Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds and other assets at both properties in a safe and acceptable state of repair. Supervise and train all Engineering staff across both hotels in Customer Service, Empowerment, Standard Operating Procedures and Loss Prevention. Create and post all Engineering staff schedules for both properties, as well as all other managerial responsibilities such as coaching & counseling and evaluations. Create and implement preventative maintenance programs for all hotel equipment at both properties. Ensure all emergency and life safety equipment and systems are inspected, tested and certified to set standards at both hotels. Assist with the administration of all vendor contracts controlled by the engineering department, across both properties. Ensure that room maintenance requests at both hotels are handled in a prompt and courteous manner. Follow up on all alarms immediately to determine the exact location and cause. Determine emergency status and report findings to the Front Desk. Take immediate action as necessary. Assist as necessary with special projects and renovations at either property.
