The Fairfield Inn & Suites in Great Barrington is seeking an operations manager to join our award-winning guest service team! As the operations manager, you help with all aspects of the day-to-day functions of the hotel. You will coordinate with the front desk team, housekeeping, and sales. As an operations manager, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise and lead our team by example. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid customer service approach. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our staff provides professional and friendly service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Support guest service agents Handle customer requests and complaints timely and efficiently Troubleshoot emergencies Monitor stock and order supplies Ensure company's policies and security requirements are met Communicate with housekeeping and assist with room inspections as needed Act as the Manager on Duty on evenings and weekends

Skills:

Previous Hotel Experience Thorough knowledge of customer service and office management Proficiency in English (oral and written) Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word Excellent communication and people skills Good organizational and multitasking abilities Problem-solving skills

Requirements:

Must have reliable form of transportation Non-smoking property / May not smoke during your shift Ability to lift up to 30 pounds if needed
