We are looking for a reliable produce team member for the Great Barrington store! In produce preparation, your primary responsibilities include ensuring our guests are provided with the highest quality produce and customer service. You will regularly monitor the quality of all fruits, vegetables and other produce, and maintain a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment. This requires you to cut and package fruit/vegetables. Responsibilities Cut fruits and vegetables consistently and safely while maintaining high productivity levels. Package and label produce products. Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating, and removing out-of-date products. Uphold organic standards for produce. Maintain back stock in good order. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized working environment. Assist with the sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing. Follow and comply with established procedures, health, and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices. Operate and sanitize all equipment safely and properly.

Requirements:

Use proper knife skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Engage in various tasks that involve moving/holding objects, not to exceed 50 pounds, unassisted, and able to push and pull carts with products. Must have weekend availability.
