The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, with a focus on enhancing guest experiences and optimizing operational efficiency. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage various departments within the hotel. Must have previous hotel or similar experience. Must also be willing to help cover shifts when needed. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure high standards of service and efficiency. Supervise staff across various departments, providing training and support to enhance performance. Monitor revenue management strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining guest satisfaction. Oversee budgeting processes and financial reporting to ensure adherence to financial goals. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Conduct regular inspections of the property to maintain quality standards in all areas. Collaborate with human resources on staffing needs, employee development, and performance evaluations. Manage night audit processes to ensure accurate reporting of daily operations. Experience Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Supervising experience with a demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively. Strong knowledge of revenue management principles and budgeting practices. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences. Familiarity with front desk operations and multi-line phone systems. Experience in guest relations and handling inquiries or complaints professionally. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Previous experience in resort settings is advantageous.
