Job Description

At The Higgins Lake Campground, great guest experiences don't happen by accident, they're led. We're hiring an Operations Manager to oversee daily campground operations while leading a team focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be actively involved in the day-to-day flow of the campground, supporting your team, engaging with guests, and ensuring everything runs smoothly across the property. If you're someone who enjoys leading from the front, staying active, and creating great experiences for both guests and team members, this role is a strong fit. What You'll Do Oversee Daily Operations Manage the day-to-day flow across guest services, store, food service, activities, and grounds Ensure all areas are running efficiently and aligned with standards Step in where needed to support during busy times Lead & Develop the Team Supervise and support Guest Experience Team Members (our Memory Makers ) Provide real-time coaching, direction, and feedback Help train and develop team members across multiple areas Drive the Guest Experience Ensure every guest interaction is welcoming, consistent, and high quality Handle guest concerns and service recovery when needed Look for opportunities to improve the overall experience Be Present on the Grounds Stay visible and engaged throughout the campground Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall atmosphere Support both guests and team members in real time What We're Looking For You might be a great fit if you: Have experience in operations, hospitality, or team leadership Are comfortable managing multiple areas at once Lead by example and aren't afraid to jump in Stay calm, organized, and solution-focused under pressure Enjoy working with people and building strong teams What Makes This Role Different You are both leading and doing, not just managing from a distance You oversee the full guest experience, not just one department You help develop team members into future leaders You have a direct impact on both operations and guest satisfaction You get to be outside and in nature 90% of the time Schedule Thursday through Monday required Weekends and holidays required Full-time seasonal role (May-October 15th) Why Work With Us Supportive, team-first environment Opportunity to lead and make an impact A dynamic, outdoor work setting A role where no two days are the same Compensation $1,500/biweekly BOE Base Salary Performance-based Bonuses To Apply If you're excited about leading a team and running day-to-day operations in a guest-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.
