Minneapolis, MN, 55403 Position Overview Please note Needs CI/TY, TOAST, Lightspeed Knowledge We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Task Force Contract Banquet Manager to join our team at the Sheraton in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banquet management, with proficiency in Hotel CI/TY, TOAST, and Lightspeed systems. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, leadership, and the ability to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced banquet environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee all banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution of events and functions. Coordinate with clients, event planners, and internal teams to ensure all banquet requirements are met. Utilize Hotel CI/TY, TOAST, and Lightspeed software to manage event orders, billing, and inventory. Supervise banquet staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting related to banquet operations. Collaborate with culinary and service teams to maintain quality and consistency of banquet offerings. Qualifications Proven experience as a Banquet Manager or similar role in a hotel or event setting. Proficiency with Hotel CI/TY, TOAST, and Lightspeed systems is required. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
