Midas Hospitality is seeking an experienced, guest-focused, and motivated Front Desk Supervisor to support our Front Office team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing Front Desk operations during assigned shifts, providing guidance and coaching to Front Desk associates, and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional arrival, stay, and departure experience. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who leads by example, enjoys developing team members, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will serve as a leader within the Front Office department, balancing hands-on guest service with operational oversight.
Responsibilities include:
Lead daily Front Desk operations during assigned shifts while maintaining high standards of guest service and professionalism. Train, coach, and support Front Desk associates on hotel procedures, guest interactions, brand standards, and service expectations. Assist with onboarding new associates and provide ongoing performance feedback and development. Welcome guests and complete efficient check-in and check-out procedures when needed. Support reservation management, room assignments, rate accuracy, and guest requests. Handle escalated guest concerns, service recovery situations, and special requests with professionalism and urgency. Monitor Front Desk cash handling procedures, credit card transactions, deposits, and financial accuracy. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand operating standards. Maintain knowledge of room inventory, hotel services, local attractions, and promotions. Assist with upselling opportunities, loyalty program enrollment, and revenue-generating initiatives. Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, and hotel leadership to ensure seamless daily operations. Complete shift reports, logs, audits, and other Front Office documentation accurately. Support scheduling, shift coverage, and operational planning as directed by Front Office leadership. Monitor the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the Front Desk and lobby areas. Assist with emergency situations and follow established safety and security procedures. Perform additional responsibilities and special projects assigned by hotel leadership.
What You Bring:
Previous hotel Front Desk, Guest Services, or hospitality experience required. Previous leadership, supervisory, or training experience preferred. Strong understanding of Front Office operations, guest service standards, and hotel procedures. Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS), reservations, and basic computer applications preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
