Job Description
Lescombes Family Vineyards is the premier vineyard and winery in the state of New Mexico. Since 1981, we have been leading the industry with an array of wines to include traditional, hand-crafted releases and highly-acclaimed, award-winning favorites. Our current locations consist of our bistro locations: Albuquerque Cottonwood, Albuquerque Old Town, Alamogordo, and Las Cruces; Hervé Wine Bar in Santa Fe; and a tasting room adjacent to the winery in Deming. Our family-owned vineyard thrives just east of Lordsburg and consists of a 240-acre property. Our mission is to passionately craft quality wine and food to be enjoyed with friends and family. You can read more about the Lescombes family and their offerings at lescombeswinery.com. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tasting Room Manager to lead our Tasting Room operations. You will be responsible for driving sales, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring an exceptional experience for every guest while fostering a positive, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Oversee hiring, training, and performance management; keep staff engaged and provide ongoing coaching for growth.Sales & Strategy:
Monitor sales goals and visitor volume, manage budgets, and develop weekly sales promotions to drive revenue and wine club acquisitions.Operations:
Manage daily activities, including POS accuracy, inventory management, facility cleanliness, and safety compliance (as head of the safety committee).
Guest Experience:
Deliver high-quality on-site experiences and collaborate with the events team to execute brand-promoting activities.Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years in a management role preferred (winery, restaurant, retail, or hotel experience preferred).Skills:
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and POS/inventory systems is required.
Certifications:
Must be 21+ years old. Must hold or obtain valid ServSafe Alcohol and Manager Food certifications and stay current with all required training.Physical:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.Pay:
$38,000.00- $42,000.
