Assistant Hotel General Manager voco | The Clair Cincinnati, OH Job Details $65,000 - $80,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Team leadership Managing hospitality teams High school diploma or GED General management Full Job Description We are looking for an experienced assistant general manager with solid leadership abilities who can grow with us. You will collaborate with our general manager to plan and oversee the hotel's daily operations, and assume the GM responsibilities in their absence. This position is responsible for managing employees and ensuring our guests have a 5-star experience with our services. Our ideal candidate is passionate about customer service while also maintaining the hotel's budget and quality standards. You must have 3 years of management experience in the hospitality industry, and a bachelor's degree in hospitality management is strongly preferred. Compensation:
65,000 - 80,000
Responsibilities:
Analyze the performance of each department, report any problem areas, and make recommendations to improve profitability for hotel operations Create the yearly hotel budget in collaboration with the general manager and department heads, and assess and adjust performance throughout the year to stay profitable Assist general manager in the day-to-day operation of the hotel in maintaining all standards of guest service Facilitates management of the hotel's human resources functions, such as HR administration, turnover control, staff motivation, and employee development and retention Ensure that all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed
Qualifications:
You must have 3 or more years of experience working in the hospitality field Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience Previous experience managing a team is required; preferably in a hospitality role such as department manager You must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in hospitality management, or a related field About Company Founded in 2005, Rolling Hills Hospitality operates 19 hotel properties with a central focus on exceeding the expectations of its guests.
