Stewarding Overview:

Under the supervision of the Manager of Stewarding, the incumbent in this position is responsible for smooth and efficient cleaning operations in our back-of-house kitchens and top-quality guest service.

Responsibilities:

Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service. Prepares work schedules and assigns projects as necessary to ensure cleaning standards and guest service standards are met. Performs supervisory duties such as coaching, corrective counseling, motivation of staff, providing assistance in hiring, establishing training programs and conducting training as necessary and conducting team member evaluations. Conducts detailed public area inspections to ensure adherence to quality and production standards and to identify problems. Recommends adjustments to departmental procedures to more effectively service the guest. Resolves problem situations to ensure total guest satisfaction. Prepares daily reports and promotes effective communication both internally and with other departments. Conducts detailed property inspections to ensure adherence to departmental policies and to identify problems. Resolve guest problems/requests to ensure total customer satisfaction. Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned. Perform work regularly and predictably. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 to 3 years of housekeeping, custodial, or janitorial supervisory experience. An Associate's Degree preferred.

Additional Details:

Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed. Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests. Review and comprehend all necessary documentation. Ability to use a typewriter, 10-key, computer, etc. Ability to review reports and observe activities subordinates. Present ideas and information in a clear manner. Perform well under pressure.
